We met our third meeting in Tallinn on February 2nd in Korean restaurant Ariran. Our aim was pretty much to take care all the open issues related our GSE travel to Korea.
We also got information related to some changes. We unfortunately had to
change team members because of some injuries and family reasons. Welcome to our
team Carita. I think this will now balance more situation with Estonians and
Finnish in the team.
Blogging
We agreed tha everyone can easily blog about those things that they feel
important to share. There is also need for certain basic information related to
our trip on some "official" days – we can also decide shifts related
to different days who’s on charge about the blogging.
Everyone has to write a report after the trip so bear in mind that this
woud be great text for the final report.
Uniform for the GSE Team
We decided basically how to proceed with the team uniform. Dress for
ladies (blue) and Navy Blue jacket/suite for guys. Yes and if you wonder what
is this, so the reason for this is to make our team members look more one team.
I will post a photo related this later.
Presentation and video material review
We still need to search more material for our presentation about Finland
and Estonia. I will look after the videos from Finnish tourist board. We need
to find more pictures for the presentation and we also need basic recent facts
about the Finland.
Language training status
Calce remind that all the members need to post language expenses to him
as soon as possible in order to get payment about them from Rotary district.
Calce and Rope are having language course for Korean language.
Unfortunately we need o drop off from the course while we are in South Korea
but we can again continue during the autumn. There are also plenty of Korean
apps available for self-study.
Business cards
These would be handy and we will order them from Tallinn. All together
estimation prize for 6 members (200 pieces) printed on both sizes is about 90
euros. Kristjan will start design cards next week. Information needed for
cards:
•
Information about the trip
•
Your vocational background
•
Home address and email,
phone number
Calce will send everyone email about the information needed for the
cards later one. Will upload picture of the card here when I will receive it.
Standards
These we might also need from our local clubs. Need to confirm to
chairman of the club. If this is not possible or wise we will produce one design
for the team and give that in formal occasions.
Insurance and documents
For Estonians insurance need to be pre-ordered for certain period (for
example one month) but Finnish has continues insurance. Other paper work is
from my side pretty much done. Papers, forms and other form of documentation
that we needed to return included:
•
open application
•
biography,
•
CV,
•
endorsement from the
local Rotary club,
•
doctor's declaration,
•
insurance notice and
•
wishlist for the visit.
Plenty of paper work in
order get to the road.Probably the passport is enough and couple of credit cards to survive... |
